It is easy to feel that we are inferior because we are not popular or successful in the eyes of the world. However, the truth is that we all are insecure and troubled within. NO ONE has a reprieve until we begin to rest more and more in the One Who alone can give us genuine security. Read below as Dr. David Jeremiah illustrates this with great clarity.
Turning Point Dr. David Jeremiah - Tuesday, February 1, 2022 - “I Worry About Everything”
Do not fret—it only causes harm. Psalm 37:8
Phoebe Dynevor (ME – Net worth 2021 $11 million) grew up in the theater—her father was a screenwriter—and she began acting in childhood. Now she’s famous. How does she feel about it?
“I don’t think anyone knows how to handle that,” she told a reporter. “I worry about everything. I’m full of anxiety. I have a fear of failure, letting someone down, contradicting myself.”[1]
Recommended Reading: Psalm 37: 1 – 8
How easy it is to go through life worrying about everything! How many of us are full of anxiety! That is exactly how we should feel—if there is no God, no Jesus, no Holy Spirit, no Bible, no heaven, and no hope.
But there is a God, a Savior, a Holy Spirit, a Bible, an eternal city, and a sure and certain hope. We have all those things as part of our salvation. God loves us perfectly, and perfect love casts out fear. Instead of worrying, try worshiping. A song of praise does so much to drive out the worries and woes of life.
Hidden in the hollow of His blessed hand, / Never foe can follow, never traitor stand; / Not a surge of worry, not a shade of care, / Not a blast of hurry touch the spirit there.
